Leonie and Ricky | The Langham Hotel Wedding

A bride and groom that want to book you even before they have a venue, there is no higher compliment than that.

My diary was full of dates on hold for Leonie and Ricky and after much searching for the idea venue they booked the Langham Hotel in London  and the date was confirmed.

Both Leonie and Ricky have infectious personalities, from our first meeting in London I knew they would be a pleasure to photograph. No stress, relaxed , enjoying every minute of their day, thats for me is what a wedding should be about, add to that a half decent photographer and you will hopefully get some really great images.

There is only one part of a Jewish wedding where there is a lot to photograph in a short space of time, and thats the family formals and couple shots, normally I have about 40-45 minutes for these and it can be stressful at times, but Leonie and Ricky made time for all of this after the Bedekken and before the ceremony, so instead of 45 minutes we had nearly 90.The ceremony itself was outside, even in August that can be risky however, we were lucky, although it did threaten rain and at one point I did feel something land on me, the rain relented and we were treated to a touching, emotional ceremony with some laughs thrown in for good measure.

The pictures will hopefully show what happened on the dance floor without the need for any captions, Leonie to her credit insisted that these images stay in the collection, which I think says it all.In short I had a great day photographing this wedding , Leonie and Ricky are such great clients and I hope that these images will provide them with memories of their day that will last a lifetime.
