International Wedding Photography Award

International Wedding Photography Award is a post by David Pullum who has recently been voted one of the best wedding photographers in UK 2019

Q12 of the WPJA awards saw yet another win taking my total from this prestigious association to 45. This now means I have one of the highest total number of wins in the UK, and bearing in mind I had a 3 year hiatus from entering, thats something I am very proud of.

This time the winning image is from Dipen and Luke's same sex wedding at Domaine du Mont Leuze, Nice. The image was photographed during their first dance and highlights the love between these two very special people.

This photograph was taken without the use of flash even though the evening reception took place outdoors. The lights from the stage was more than enough to light the couple and the guests in the background.

Winning wedding photography awards is what keeps me inspired to produce better images on a daily basis. The competition is stiff , but it's great to know that even 15 years on I am still producing images that are rated as some of the best in the world.
