Four Seasons Hampshire Wedding | Charlene and Adam
Four Seasons Hampshire Wedding by David Pullum a Wedding photographer with over 15 years experience.
I am pretty sure the lead up to the wedding was pretty stressful for just about everyone involved. Britain has not seen snow like we had last week for probably something like 20 years, and it wasn't until Saturday, the day before the wedding, that I could actually get my car out of my driveway and on to a gritted road. When the forecast says there will be a thaw and you look out the window and there is a snow blizzard its difficult not to panic.
Fortunately though, the thaw was quick, and overnight it thawed enough for me to get my car up the hill and onto the motorway.I have been lucky enough to have photographed a number of weddings at The Four Seasons Hampshire, its a beautiful venue ideal for larger weddings, 5 star luxury in the country. It was however my first full wedding using the unbelievable Sony A9.
Camera technology has progressed quicker in the last 2 years than in the last 10. Sony entered the mirrorless market a few years ago and has taken it by storm. I will post my real world review of this camera later this month, but needless to say its incredible.Charlene and Adam married under the chuppah in front of 150 of their family and friends, and partied well into the night.
Thanks go to both sets of family for making us feel so very welcome and for the lovely message the day after.
Working closely with clients is so important, always mindful that it's their special day and I have been invited to document it, not run it, to be respectful and to provide images that mean something.
"Dear DavidI am just contacting you on behalf of everyone to say an enormous THANK YOU! for all your hard work on the day of Charlene and Adam's Wedding on Sunday. From the moment we met you last year, you were great to deal with, and we really look forward to seeing the final outcome of the photos when they are ready.
