It’s lovely to have an article published acknowledging all the hard work that has gone into creating my business. Three best rated have published any article providing the 3 best rated photographers in Exeter. It’s a real delight to be on that list.
I have been lucky over the years to have been voted in the Top 10 UK wedding photographers 3 times, as well as Professional Photographer Magazine writing an article on me as one of the best winter wedding photographers in the UK. Accolades are wonderful especially having been in the industry for 15 years. Since I started the sheer number of wedding photographers have exploded, some of course do it part time, some are full time professionals. We have been full time since 2004, and having photographed nearly 800 weddings I feel that our work has just got better and better and competes with all the new photographers and in most cases supersedes them in quality.
Wedding photography is not something you can learn in 2 or 3 years, most of the best wedding photographers in the UK have been photographing weddings for at least 10 years. Their experience is priceless, knowing where to be and when, knowing not to panic, knowing that luck is all about preparation and the opportunity. People often say that the shot of the cake falling down was luck, even that I had staged it. Firstly why on earth would I stage such a shot on someones wedding, and luck? No, I was prepared for that shot. I had noticed that the floor was exceptionally uneven and that the cake was tall.
