I love small intimate weddings, it really does give you chance to get to know most people at the wedding, and once you get to know them they let you in and take whatever images you like, within reason of course. I highlight this is my About video, and the importance of it. So many photographers stand in the corner and don't talk to anyone. I like to view myself as a people photographer that photographs weddings, there is a big difference in my view.Francine and Peter had around 27 guests to their wedding in London, the ceremony at the Holy Trinity Church in London, the drinks reception at The Connaught Hotel and then the evening meal at Sketch Restaurant in the West End. Sketch Restaurant has to be one of the funkiest places I have been too, with toilets that look like something out of Star Wars, it really was a great gastronomic experience. One of the benefits of such a small wedding from my point of view is that it also gives me more time to explore couple portraiture. Whilst the majority of my work is completely un-posed, I do like to take time to get some really great images of the bride and groom alone, and Sketch provided a great opportunity for that. So, here are a few of my favourite images from Francine and Peter's day.
